This page provides important information about Atlas Vehicle Protection and vehicle service contract information presented on this website.

Atlas's Role

Atlas Vehicle Protection is a Missouri-based seller of vehicle service contracts.

Atlas helps consumers explore available options and purchase vehicle service contract coverage for eligible vehicles.

Atlas is not necessarily the administrator responsible for administering an individual vehicle service contract.

Contract Administrators

Vehicle service contracts offered through Atlas may be administered by:

  • EFG Companies / Enterprise Financial Group
  • BeeCovered

The administrator applicable to your coverage is identified in your individual agreement.

Administrator availability and contract structure may vary.

Your Contract Controls

Website content is intended to summarize and explain vehicle service contract concepts and options.

It does not replace your individual agreement.

Your agreement determines applicable:

  • Coverage
  • Covered components
  • Exclusions
  • Definitions
  • Eligibility
  • Coverage period
  • Mileage provisions
  • Deductible
  • Claims procedures
  • Authorization requirements
  • Maintenance obligations
  • Additional benefits
  • Limits
  • Cancellation provisions
  • State-specific provisions
  • Other terms and conditions

If website information and an issued agreement differ, rely on the applicable agreement for your coverage.

Coverage Is Not Universal

Not every plan covers every component or mechanical problem.

Coverage depends on the applicable agreement.

A system heading or general coverage category does not necessarily mean every component within that system is covered. Review the actual coverage description and exclusions.

Listed-Component and Exclusionary Coverage

Atlas offers vehicle service contract options that may use different coverage structures.

A listed-component agreement identifies components included in coverage.

An exclusionary agreement generally provides coverage for eligible components except those excluded by the agreement. Exclusionary coverage does not mean that every repair or component is covered.

Vehicle Eligibility and Availability

Vehicle service contract availability may depend on factors including:

  • Vehicle
  • Mileage
  • Eligibility
  • Selected coverage
  • Applicable state requirements
  • Other contract-specific conditions

Not every option displayed or discussed on the website is necessarily available for every vehicle or customer.

Deductibles

Atlas vehicle service contract options may be available with a $100 deductible, and a $0 deductible option may be available on select contracts.

The applicable deductible and how it is applied are determined by the individual agreement.

Mentioning $100 or $0 deductible options does not mean every contract offers both, or that either is available for every vehicle or customer.

Roadside Assistance and Additional Benefits

Atlas plans include 24-hour roadside assistance, subject to the terms, conditions and limits of the applicable agreement.

Other benefits may include services such as rental transportation or trip interruption where provided by the agreement.

Benefit eligibility, limits and procedures are contract-specific.

Claims

The administrator identified in the individual agreement handles applicable claims according to the contract terms.

A mechanical problem does not automatically establish that a repair is covered. Coverage may depend on:

  • The failed component
  • Cause of failure
  • Contract terms
  • Exclusions
  • Maintenance requirements
  • Authorization requirements
  • Other applicable conditions

Customers should follow the claims procedure in their agreement.

Claims & Breakdown Help

Repair Authorization

Some agreements require authorization before covered repairs are performed.

Do not assume that a repair can be independently authorized, paid for and automatically reimbursed afterward. Follow the procedure in the applicable agreement.

Maintenance

Vehicle service contracts generally do not replace the vehicle owner’s responsibility to maintain the vehicle.

Applicable maintenance requirements are determined by the agreement.

Routine maintenance should not be assumed to be covered unless specifically provided for in the applicable contract.

Pricing and Payment

Vehicle service contract pricing varies.

Payment arrangements may include a down payment and monthly installments.

When evaluating an option, review the total contract price and applicable payment terms rather than relying solely on a monthly-payment amount.

Cancellation

Cancellation provisions and any applicable refund are determined by the individual agreement and applicable requirements.

Atlas does not represent through this website that every contract has the same:

  • Cancellation period
  • Cancellation procedure
  • Refund formula
  • Fee
  • Processing timeframe

Review the applicable agreement.

Cancellation Information

Sample Contracts

Sample contracts and example documents are provided for informational purposes.

A sample agreement does not replace the agreement actually issued to an individual customer. Terms may vary based on applicable coverage, vehicle, state and other contract-specific factors.

Administrator and Third-Party Ratings

Ratings, accreditations and credentials displayed or discussed on the Atlas website should be attributed to the organization that received them.

A rating belonging to:

  • A contract administrator
  • An insurer
  • An obligor
  • Another third party

should not be interpreted as a rating of Atlas Vehicle Protection itself unless specifically stated.

Third-party ratings can also change over time.

Insurance Company Information

An insurance company may back specified obligations associated with a vehicle service contract where identified in the applicable agreement.

Any financial-strength rating belongs to the applicable insurer.

An insurer’s rating should not be interpreted as a rating of Atlas, a contract administrator or the vehicle service contract itself.

Website Information

Atlas makes reasonable efforts to present accurate information.

Website content may be updated as products, contracts, administrators, business operations or applicable requirements change.

The website should not be relied upon as a substitute for an issued agreement.

Educational Content

Articles and resources published by Atlas are provided for general educational purposes.

They are intended to help consumers understand vehicle service contracts and related concepts.

Educational content does not determine coverage under an individual agreement.
